Marinated Vegetables
1 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Bring to a boil and let cool completely before pouring over vegetables:
Chop – 1 stalk celery
1 large bell pepper
1 large onion
Drain and add – 1 can green peas
1 can green beans
1 can shoe peg corn
1 jar pimentoes
Pour cooled vinegar mixture over all vegetables, stir together, store in large container for 2-3 days prior to serving.
