Indemnity

I started on the South Beach diet a couple months ago with my wife (though I'm the one who needed it  ) and it basically entails very low carbs and sugars. Sounds like a pain but it's really not that bad and I've lost 25lbs over 2 months now. Anyway, I am struggling to find any dry rub recipes that don't require some for of sugar as base or large part of the ingredient list. I've heard about paprika based rubs that turn out fairly sweet but haven't actually tried them myself. Anyone have any experience with this or that can recommend a sugar-free rub for beef (ie flank steak and tri-tip cuts)?
