Temperatures of ProQ Frontier

I am using brickets for my smoker and use a chimney to start it. Even although I open all the bottom vents I can't get the temperature above 150F. i also use hot water to put into the water basin.

Can anyone advise what I can do to get higher temperatures and what type of charcoal I should use.

Thank you
