sweet corn on the grill/bbq?
i've heard of some people putting sweet corn on the cob on the grill. has anyone else done this? i've tried it a couple of times but the corn never seems to get all the way done. i do leave the husks on and soak the corn in water for 1-2 hrs. any suggestions or is there a particular way to do it that i don't know?

If you will get the fire good and hot and then let the corn roast till the husk burnn a little then you will have some real good eats. You will need to practice but it should not be hard to figure out. 25 to 35 min's is all it should take.

thanks for info. do you soak the corn first to avoid flare-up on the husk?

After the corn is cooked just peel and butter then your ready to eat, most of the silk will pull off when you peel the husk. |

when I do my corn i shuck the corn. I then take butter and melt it in the microwave in a dish long enough to put the cob in. Once the butter is melted I add season salt, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic and onion powder to the dish and whisk it thoroughly. Once mixed I roll the cob in the dish 4 or 5 times and place on tinfoil and wrap it up in so the ends are loose and place them on the grill. A gas grill should take about 15 mins and charcoal should take about 30 mins. Good luck and it turns out well for you all.
